With the February 1 announcement of its mammoth public offering, Facebook is basking in the limelight of having 850 million customers and a potential valuation of between $75 and $100 billion. It, along with recent reported results from Apple, LinkedIn and Twitter, is yet another reminder of the dramatic impact that the social, mobile and cloud revolutions are having on customer communications and shareholder rewards.
