Alun:
I am a strong advocate of investing time in becoming an active partner in the sector(s) in which you operate. Attending conferences and sector gatherings as a delegate, not an exhibitor, is an effective way to appreciate the key issues that concern our clients whilst at the same time grow your network.

Sonia: We already have an extensive database that we continue to build through pro-active research. We have an extensive global network as well that we draw on to identify credible people.

Dan: Parker Executive Search engages in the national education landscape by participating in numerous conferences, associations, etc. Having a national and international reach has allowed us to develop and build a strong network of thought leaders. These industry leaders facilitate the identification of current and future educational leaders.

Alex: Lots of research so that we are on top of market intelligence; investment of time in going out and about to talk to institutions and find out what is preoccupying them. In other words, we are not always in selling mode but genuinely entering into intelligent dialogue about sectoral issues. We make a point of keeping in touch with candidates whether or not they have been successfully placed.
